Wedding activities and gifts for children
I absolutely love weddings! We’ve been lucky enough to go to a fair few since having our children. A wedding is a long day for a child, even if the ceremony is later and its often easy to forget how different it can be for little ones. I’ve always found that the key for keeping children happy and entertained during a wedding is to go prepared. You don’t want take too much but a good selection of activities will ensure you have a great day.
For the ceremony I would pack one of our handbag sets. These are compact and versatile. The games are perfect while you’re waiting for the bride. Then during the ceremony the colouring and activity roll will stop any boredom and with two metres of paper, you wont run out!
During the reception the handbag sets will continue to be a great source of entertainment for the children. I would also pack our activity books and other art and craft activities such as the scratch art sets or the engraving art. The origami kits and make your own cardboard kits would also be a great hit during a wedding.
Our activity packs and mini busy bags are always a great hit at weddings and will light up any faces. You’ll be glad to have them on the day!
Whilst going to a wedding with children is different to going pre children, we’ve always had a lot of fun. I’m always nervous about the later nights but once the speeches are over and the music starts the children love a good boogie and usually dance until they fall asleep. (And if they do fall asleep you can stay that bit later!)
If you’re planning your wedding and looking for bespoke packages for the children attending or gifts for your page boys and flower girls then get in touch and we can work together to make them perfect. I’m very used to working within all budgets.
